Health Insurance Information

This free service helps people who are eligible, or will soon be eligible, for Medicare with their health insurance questions.

Are you newly eligible for Medicare? Do you have Medicare and want to know if you qualify for extra assistance? Do you want help in finding the best drug plan for you?

Information is available for traditional Medicare, Medicare Supplemental insurance plans (Medigap), Medicare Advantage plans, Medicare Prescription Drug benefit, and Long Term Care insurance.

For those individuals that is newly eligible for Medicare Part D (initial enrollment period begins three months before the month you turn 65, and ends three months after the month you turn age 65) or, recently qualified for Medicaid. Help is available to personalize a plan search by entering your medications and dosages, and choosing your favorite pharmacy. The Medicare approved program will sort the plans, estimate annual cost, annual deductible, monthly drug premium or monthly drug cost, and select three plans different plans to compare to help you pick a plan. Open enrollment period is currently from November 15 to December 31, for those individuals that are enrolled in a plan but would like to change for whatever reason.
